My slime is to sticky.
There are many reasons slime can get sticky but no worries friends its an easy fix!
Every order comes with a BORAX baggie. This baggie contains Borax powder that can be used to make your very own slime activator.
Follow the directions below!
Its okay to ask for help from family or friend if needed.
Keep it away from eyes and out of your mouth!
Recipe for borax slime activator.
You will need the Borax baggie that came with your purchase.
A clean container.
Something to stir with.
1/2 teaspoon measuring spoon.
Measuring cup for water.
Get 1 cup of warm water and measure 1/2 teaspoon of the Borax powder and add to your warm water. STIR STIR STIR! Mix until the Borax powder is fully dissolved. Simple as that!
High 5 yourself because you just made 1 cup of your very own slime activator!
You will have some leftover Borax powder for next time as needed.
To resolve your sticky issue simply add very small amounts of the Slime Activator and work it in with your fingers until you reach your desired consistency!
If by chance you do use to much activator and have over activated your slime and it becomes stiff or non stretchy just set the closed airtight container of slime in a cool dry place and it should return back to a playable state within 3-7 days depending on the stiffness.
NOTE: Some slime's are just sticky and best for table poking and quick play!
What to do if my Slime is no longer stretchy or stiff?
If its a clear slime simply leave to sit a few days in its container. It will possibly bring itself back to a playable state. This could take 1-7 days depending on its condit
To bring your White based slime's back to a soft stretchy playable texture you can try some Unscented lotion. Simply add a small pump at a time and knead it into your slime adding more until you get your slime back to its stretchy state.
What to do if my CLEAR Slime looks foggy, milky or cloudy?
Clear slime continues to collect tiny air pockets of bubbles as you play.Putting your clear slime back into its airtight container and letting it rest a day or 2 can bring it back to a clear state.
Unfortunately clear slime's can become cloudy naturally over time.
If you don't wash your hands or play with your slime on a clean smooth surface tiny particles of dust and dirt matter get into the slime causing a cloudiness and nobody likes that! This is why we stress the importance of hand washing.
Why are my beads falling out of my slime?
Bead fallout can happen when slime is over activated and to stiff to contain the beads.
Snow fallout from my CLOUD Slime. Cloud Slime is made with instant snow. Its normal to feel a slight residue or experience some snow fall out but it shouldn't be overwhelming if at all.
Adding slime activator in little amounts at a time may help.If its to wet you can try adding a pinch or 2 of baking soda kneading it in.
Some cloud slime's can feel slightly damp.
Remember to FLUFF your cloud slime for awesome drizzles by kneading and stretching any lumps or bumps out!
REMEMBER ...
Slime can last a really long time but its going to shrink and deflate naturally. Following these tips can help you maintain your slime for a few more months of stress relief fun!
